It was a packed day of racing across the globe Sunday, with graded stakes in Ireland, France, the US, Canada, Germany and Japan. In Ireland, Pleascach (Ire) (Teofilo {Ire}) took the G1 Tattersalls Irish 1000 Guineas, while Al Kazeem (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) returned to the races with a win in the G1 Tattersalls Gold Cup. The Freddy Head-trained Solow (GB) (Singspiel {Ire}) annexed Longchamp's G1 Prix d'Ispahan and, stateside, Ashleyluvssugar (Game Plan) got up in Santa Anita's GIII Charles Whittingham S. Plus, the Magic Millions National Sale got underway on the Gold Coast Sunday, and a new “TDN Rising Star” was tabbed at Santa Anita. All that and much more in today's TDN.
