Normandy Farm homebred Daddys Lil Darling (Scat Daddy-Miss Hot Salsa, by Houston) will be offered as a broodmare prospect at the upcoming Fasig-Tipton November Sale. The 4-year-old, heroine of the 2017 GI American Oaks at Santa Anita, will be consigned by Gainesway.
“A top physical to complement her proven Grade I ability, Daddys Lil Darling will appeal to all buyers looking for an outstanding young broodmare prospect,” said Michael Hernon, Gainesway's Director of Sales.
Daddys Lil Darling, trained by Ken McPeek, also won the 2016 GII Pocahontas S. at Churchill Downs and this term's GIII Modesty H. at Arlington. She posted a career record of 20-5-6-2 and earnings of $1,335,305.
Daddys Lil Darling is a half-sister to three stakes horses, including millionaire Mongolian Saturday (Any Given Saturday), winner of the GI Breeders Cup Turf Sprint, and multiple stakes winner Victoryasecret (Victory Gallop). Her first three dams are all graded stakes producers.
Fasig-Tipton President Boyd Browning added, “Daddys Lil Darling was one of the top fillies in North America each year from two to four, on both turf and dirt. Her pedigree and race record make her highly appealing to buyers from around the world.”
The Fasig-Tipton November Sale will be held Sunday, Nov. 4, in Lexington, Kentucky.
